Since joining the company in 1978, Ron has been the embodiment of dedication, starting as an apprentice and expertly climbing the ranks to become a job foreman. With a hands-on approach, he split his time between project management and fieldwork for five years before focusing solely on project management. When Bill Hickman retired, Ron seamlessly stepped into the role of Owner and President, upholding the values of Hickman Electric and steering it toward a future as bright as the services it provides.
Kindall Shoben
Kindall is the heartbeat of Hickman Electric, embodying the company’s spirit since her start in 1989. With a Bachelor of Science in Management from Robert Morris University, Kindall’s expertise is as vast as it is deep. As the Owner and Corporate Secretary, she represents the second generation at Hickman Electric, preserving the company’s legacy while driving its continuous growth and success.
Bill Shoben
Bill’s career at Hickman Electric is a narrative of progress, marked by his evolution from an electrician in 1987 to his current role as Senior Estimator and Project Construction Manager. A graduate of the Electronics Institute of Pittsburgh (Rosedale), Bill’s academic background and on-the-job experience have equipped him with unparalleled expertise. Transitioning to the office, he honed his skills in estimation and project management, becoming a cornerstone of our operational excellence.
Levi Barthels
Levi represents the future of Hickman Electric and the enduring legacy of his grandfather Bill Hickman. Starting as an apprentice in 2009, Levi quickly demonstrated his aptitude by acquiring a Journeyman license in 2013. His ambition didn’t stop there; he rose to a lead foreman and recently earned his City of Pittsburgh Master Electrical License in 2022. Now, as an estimator and project manager, Levi is poised to carry the family legacy forward into its 3rd generation, ensuring that Hickman Electric remains at the forefront of the industry.
Becky Reynolds
Becky may be the newest member of the Hickman Electric family, having joined in July 2023, but her impact has been immediate and profound. Her role as Office Manager has seen her become an indispensable part of the team, providing support to her colleagues and playing a pivotal role in streamlining office operations. Becky’s enthusiasm and commitment to efficiency make her an invaluable asset to Hickman Electric and its future.
